Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address or payment details. The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are never sent to us or stored on a server. Two third-party services — Google Analytics and Google AdSense — do set cookies and collect usage data, and those are described below.

What the calculators do with your inputs

Nothing leaves your device. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser: the request volumes, prompt sizes and model choices you enter are used to compute a result locally and are discarded when you close the page. We never see them, never log them and never store them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and where people get stuck. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It does not record what you type into a calculator.

Google processes this data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can prevent it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking the script in your browser. The site works normally either way.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Opting out means you see less relevant ads, not fewer.

Cookies

Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense. We set none of our own for tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; no feature of this site depends on them.

Data we hold

If you email us, we hold that email and our reply in the mailbox for as long as it is useful to answer and to track a correction through. That is the only personal data we hold at all, and we do not add it to any mailing list.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. In practice the only such data is email correspondence, and you can have it deleted by asking at shershenbizi@gmail.com.

Analytics and advertising data is held by Google rather than by us, so requests about it are handled through Google's own controls linked above.

Children

This site is aimed at developers and businesses estimating software costs. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

External links

We link to providers' pricing pages and documentation. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we have no control over them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
